The people
Herero were the first settlers of this town, with its German architecture, the city is nice and peaceful, it has many facilities on its quality.
Particularly in the field of education, with many schools, colleges and a university known.
For the traveler, Otjiwarongo is ideal for refueling, or food.
In those concerning transport, Otjiwarongo is one of the few city with paved roads even in the townships.
The city is also served by the Trans-Namib Railway connecting Windhoek to Tsumeb.
The area around Otjiwarongo exellents Game Ranch possesses numerous activities and attractions such as the Waterberg Plateau, the Cheetah Conservation Fund, the crocodile ranch
