Khorixas is a small town in the Kunene Region in the northwest of Namibia.
Located on the road in the C39 Damaraland , it was once the capital.
In 2001 the city had nearly 6000 inhabitants.
The city has gas station, lodges, hotel and even a hospital, schools and a branch of the University of Namibia.
The main Activities to be discovered in the region are the famous cave paintings of Twyfelfontein, Petrified Forest and Vingerklip.
