What to do in Khowarib ?
I. Things to visit and see in the region of Khowarib
Palmwag Concession
Palmwag is located 60 km south of Khowarib, in northern Damaraland.
In the middle of the river flows Uniab concession and a multitude of wildlife across the land.
We can cross the concession without paying entrance fee, a service station and several accommodations are offered.

Skeleton Coast Park
The Skeleton Coast Park is located one hundred kilometers to the west of Khowarib.
The park stretches from the Kunene River to the river Ugab (approximately 500 km).
The landscape includes sand dunes, canyons and mountains.
This coast is also famous for its many shipwrecks, the must is a flight over the coast remained wild.
A permit to travel in this area is required, and costs N$ 80 per person + N$ 10 per vehicle.
