I. Demography in Namibia.


Namibia is one of the three countries with the lowest density in the world.
This desert country, had only 450,000 inhabitants in 1958 and has over a million capita than 80 years to reach 2 million in the mid 2000s.
In July 2003, the census population was 1,927,447 inhabitants (including 38% aged under 15 years and 4% over 65 years).
Blacks make up 84.5% of the population against 7% white, 6.5% mixed, and 2% Chinese.
The Namibian population is unevenly distributed on the territory (see map above cons).
The bulk of the population lives in the north and Windhoek.
