Uis is a village located in the Erongo region in Namibia. Located in the former Damaraland, Uis is known for its mineral wealth local end of the Brandberg Massif.
Uis has about 3,600 inhabitants spread over 10 square kilometers.
The Brandberg is home to the famous "White Lady" rock painting dating back over 20,000 years.

Brandberg White Lady Lodge is located on the north side of the Brandberg Massif. The C35 to Uis Section Korixas, take the D2359 to the "White Lady" and follow the signs "Brandberg White Lady Lodge" of 27 km.
